KTM hard parts and other bits and pieces...

Just put a ventura rack on the 950 also. I have run them on most of my bikes so I already had a selection of the racks and a bag & just needed the brackets.

You will possibly find that the NZ KTM parts distributor does not purchase the volume that their US counterparts do, and therfore do not get the same discount from KTM. Either that or the NZ guys don't have the balls or the money or the system to keep adequate inventory levels.

Or possibly they are working on too high of a margin, or there are too many channels.
Anyway sounds like a shake up is long overdue.

Personable service, shipping notices and e-mails from KTM counterparts in the USA.
Here, you make a call, "oh yeah, okay, I will find out..." Three weeks later, nothing! STILL...
I must admit, there is one that is good, AFC.....I have spent a lot of money on KTM, and I am sure most of you and all of us have over the years on various brands...Until, these guys...NZ that is get their act together, it really puts you off buying one...

Yeah I know, slack arse...I have been busy, new career etc.
I have plenty in the album, have just uploaded some photos. She is bits at the moment, I am making sure it is all there and cleaning the Katie as I go...
I hope to ride her for the first time this Saturday or Sunday....

Moved across ro the 'Dark Side' I work for Safetyn'Action, the industry training establishment that trains Fonterra staff and others in things like Extinguishers, Permit to Work, Hazard ID etc...In fact I was out at Te Rapa transport last week, looked out for ya but you were in the workshop area? I was at transport....
The bike is really clean and tidy, yes, I would call it new, but give me a few weeks on it and NZKTM can do some damage I am sure...
I have the plate changed so look out everyone, NZKTM is back on the road and off the rails...!! Training wheels are off...
