I hate silver yet my bike is silver......

Kawasaki/Ninja green is the best colour in the world but obviously has to be on a Ninja

Black is my favourite but after night riding behind my husband on his black bike, I couldn't see him, or the bike = scary! I want everyone to see me.

    i really like bright colours.
    and safety is involved too.

as for now, i can say that when others see something lime green coming in the mirror, they step aside...
it's a colour that seems "fast" even at 50 kmh...

Black with gold pin stipes as in mid 70's Ducati
and Norton Interstate, I like the metalic blue of mid to late 50's Triumphs.

    Daily rider is red

Would probably not buy a KTM due to colour range.

Blue - has to be blue.

How could I call her the Blue Lovely, or the Blue Bitch if she was orange or something

I like Red and that comes from liking Ducatis. When getting the Ninja l had to have a Red 1. Just a pity my Race bike isn't Red but l guess l cant have it my way all the time, at least my Leathers, Helmet, Boots and Gloves have red in them.

Now I have a green bike and a blue bike that I ride (and a small grey, yellow and a mixed colour one. Add to that a few in process of being built that do not have a colour sorted yet).

And I still want a red one.

What colour is your dream bike?
Ah ha, my first "real" bike was a black 52 "Royal Enfield" 350.

Not quite as grand as your 500 twin but of course to me it was real.

Reddest red bike owned was a new 1993 Honda ST 1100 and I dinged that one good, damn it!

Current bike is blue, to match my pretty blue eyes but black is still my favourite colour for a bike!

(sigh) Looks like my "dreaming" days are over and this will be my last bike ever! (Thanks Nick)

Black, black or even black. The shade is not important. As long as it is black.

I love the pearl white finish on my bike - but it's not a colour I'll expect all my bikes to be.

When I decided what type of bike I was going to purchase the next question was...which colour. After many bottles of bourbon and much consultation I decided on red!

So how the hell did I get a black one?

Too easy: You had too much bourbon and blacked out...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

The bike itself is first - the colour a distant second or even lower in the pecking order.
Having said that, I like red and I like black. Not too keen on blue and definitely don't want Kack..er Kwak green. Wouldn't mind dark green but not the lime colour. Current bike is burnt orange which is OK I guess.

But if the bike is right, I don't really notice the colour. After all, I'm about as observant as a brick wall - according to herself anyway - cow ...

Black is the preference. Red is cool. Mine have either been black or red.

    But

I was looking at the CB1000r the other day - the black variant is all black, everywhere - to the point of maybe being too much (polish the wheels maybe?) they do have a grey/silver that looked the bizz and would be my preference for that specific ride. How important - very - part of a bikes appeal to me is visual and colour plays a big part with that - I'd not buy the 1000r in the limp green for example. For that matter I'd not buy the bike if it did not visually appeal to me no matter how fantastic it is meant to be.

And the fangy race replica colour schemes do nothing for me. I often look at cars or bikes and wonder how the heck a particular colour got approved at the factory
