SO you can fit wiring loom and ecu and everyone will have one. Then Ban the use of a function that all bikes will have and is very hard to enforce! Why oh why???
This lot are out of touch

English dictionerys are very hard to understand

    "function [ˈfʌŋkʃən]
    n
    1. the natural action or intended purpose of a person or thing in a specific role the function of a hammer is to hit nails into wood

maybe that's what we are supposed to do

I rang Peter Ramage about that one over a month ago, call him and ask his discription on this one.

    Hi.
The wording in the proposed rules did not say the part that is in brackets. The original wording would exclude (make illegal) ECU based quickshifters such as Yoshi, HRC etc as it is not a standard function of the OEM ECU so the statement "this excludes quickshifter functions" then makes them OK and legal otherwise only non ECU based quickshifters could be used.

Clear as mud, good carry on.

Cheers Kev, I was wondering about this also, as soon as you said that it made perfect sense.
