Just out of interest, can I ask where MAG-NZ would launch if it wasn't launched in New Zealand?

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Waited a while to add my $0.02
Welcome to the mad world of representing Motorcyclists
You all have many sleepless nights ahead of you
Muwahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Peace
Just ride.
Indeed Brent.
Congratulations to Anne and all her team for their hard work. Looking forward to working alongside you all in advancing the greater good of motorcyclists all over the country.
While we may not agree on everything we do agree on one thing - We're for motoryclists.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Every day above ground is a good day!:
On second look, do you have any details on this ride I can forward on?
When typing previously I had your ride confused with this one:

Which is a month earlier, guess I'm just a simpleton.
Keep on chooglin'
Are you talking about the Taupo event?

What a day!
Over 350 Bikes parked up 2 deep on the great South Road Outside the DRURY PERFORMANCE CENTRE.
That count was done before all the people stopped arriving.
While I was on the membership table and couldn't always hear the speechs and the interviews, I do know that many who arrived were already members (Thanks to our on line Paypal and Credit card payment options) However they happily bought our Special Edition Launch badges, the coffee from the Coffe man and the snags from the redeemed Riders working the sausage sizzle for us.
A personal thanks to Jafar for taking TEC for me on the Southern ride in.
Another to Reckless for making delivery of our Flags on Thursday Night, just in time.
I hope that Anthony of Drury Tyres / Drury Performance Centre is reading this as I'd also like to thank him and his Redeemed Riders for their tireless work in not only preparing the venue but staying behind to clean up as well.
To the Men and Woman of the redeemed a heartfelt thank you, your involvement meant that we of the MAG-NZ committee could and did manage to get around and talk to as many of our new members and visitors as it was posible to do.
Again to Anthony for our guest speakers, how cool is that an 8 times NZ Champion Rider , a Rally Specialist and that THUMPING GREAT V8 tyre Shredding monster chained up beside the building, unleashing all that smoke and noise.
Special Thanks to both Repco NZ and Depot4. I know that Grant and Antonio of Depot4 were with us today.
While today was about membership numbers getting a boost, it also served to make it possible for those not sure to come along and listen tho what we are proposing to DO, now that our group is officially Launched.
Look to the MAG-RAG coming to you via email, snail mail, Bike Shop Counter and any other shop counter where we are allowed to drop it off.
Your participation today was greatly appreciated, your ongoing involvement is absolutely critical to MAG-NZ going forward and taking you all with us.
Thanks to all those who made this day a success, our own people who have worked tirelessly for many weeks now to get this event up and running, our Redeemed friends, DRURY Tyre/Performance Centre and the People who rode today without whom it would not have been possible to make happen.
Also to Kiwi Graham for the invite out to Pukekohe to go and see first hand how a track day works and who took the time to explain many of the little things that happen at a track day and why, cheers mate.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
It was a good day! It was my first group ride, and what an awesome sight - all those bikes heading south to Drury![]()
What a ripper of a day.
That burn out was the bloody bollix eh?
Heads still spinning, too many stories bout the Isle of Man TT Races and good ole rock bands..Bikes, good people and music, what more dya want?![]()
Fan-bloody-tastic day all round.
Great to catch up with old mates and make some new friends along the way.
Really was very humbling being there today and seeing the collective hard work, determination and dedication coming together.
I seriously had a lump in the throat and a tear in teh eye when I looked along GSR and saw the bikes lined up.
Then the track day, my giddy aunt, some serious hardware on show there and a whole heap of biker people out doing their thing.
We are launched now thanks to the help of so many. Now we will carry on the fight in ernest to be the voice of bikers in New Zealand. We will preserve and protect, we will hear our members and, most of all, we will DO IT....!!!
So my lovelies, its time to get on board and enjoy the ride
LETS HAVE IT.....!!
