    Just moved here from BOP.
Yep Taradale road Mobil , 1.00pm . Over the winter months rides have been infrequent due to all the wet Saturdays , but pm me a contact number and I will text a reminder ( when I remember ) . Despite the urban legends its a moderate ride these days.
Possibility if there is support to do thursday night rides at 5.30pm from same location starting after labour weekend .

Hey Dave - how you doing?
Best hope Bwetty just turns up, or posts more. He can't PM yet...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It would be good to get the rides going again, especially now its getting warmer.
We all seem to have fallen out of sync with each other, things just happen eh.

Myself, I have'nt ridden for 5 months due to a few issues (not licence stuff lol) but feel confident of getting back on the hoss very soon.

Post Getting out and Getting Home

    Hi all

Have been reading your posts. I work and HDC and have a handle on where road works are happening. Each week I can give you a heads up for the Hastings rural district, so you can get out and back home safely. Road patches with new chip on:
    - Taihape above Crownthorpe
    - Puketitiri Rd beyond Patoka
    - Matahoura Rd
    - Swamp Rd

Resealing starting this week in the urban areas and continuing for the next few weeks into the rural. Watch for signs and speed restrictions.

    Take care

Thanks for that Neil, good to see your post. I will see if I can take your initiative on board and do the same for our maintenace works. I will prbably struggle to be able to get to the same level as you in regards to maintenance patches but we will see.

    Cheers

Heads up for Sunday! Porangahau loop.

Here's a heads up for you lot in the Bay area.

I have posted a ride in the Manawatu w/end rides for this Sunday meeting at the Dannevirke BP at 10:00 am. Ride out 10:30 toward Wimbledon etc..
This is planned to be a ride at your own pace, there will be numerous stops for regathering so slower riders are welcome. I haven't traveled this road in some time so I this it'd be prudent to exercise some caution given the weather bomb we've been having recently.
Lunch hopefully at the Porangahau pub if it's not too busy then onto Waipukurau and so on... All round not going to be a rushed day, hope some of you can make it down.

Primo ride today. On some of the finest roads you could find anywhere. Must do it again sometime.
And the pace was almost slow enough for me...

Im thinking leaving at 0845am from BP Stortford Lodge. Heading up HW50 at a leisurely pace, to allow for any stops along the way and a refill and a drink in Vegas.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever
