The swinger kicking in gets it sliding (or slapping)

Still recon swinging on the asphelt be harder work, have to swing my belly from side to side !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Yes, I am sure it is - and surely far more dangerous My husband had said he wanted to try road/asphalt or whatever you would call it sidecars - I am glad he got over that phase!

Lot longer races for a start and more moving around, we might do a 10 lapper and be on track for 25-30 minutes, compared to speedway which is all over in the time we do one lap

Pig is 130kg and 6ft 3inches and swings on one down here and a lot of that is belly and he does ok

I would doubt that, just different not more dangerous

Yes, dirt sidecars do 4 laps - all over in a few minutes, and they go clockwise.

Oh just hanging around with your mate

A friend of mine decided he'd have a go at swinging, at his first meeting they ran over a fallen swinger & killed him. That was the beginning, middle & end of his career as a swinger.

Yes, like all motor sports there are risks - I try not to think about it too much - he did this sport before I met him and I have no right to ask him to give it up (though he said he would if I wanted him to).
Hey a man has gotta have a hobby right?
