I'm a very noobie noob (L plate got 30/11), and I don't really want to go near the motorway yet, but distance is okay - I did a big loop today, from Mt Albert, through the city, Parnell, Remuera, St Johns, Ellerslie, Greenlane, down Gt Sth to Newmarket, through Khyber to New North, back to Mt Albert (AA Maps tells me it's about 33km). Was still raring to go when I got back, would have gone further, but had to go to work.

So I should have suitably low expectations... But then, I've never been very good at plans either.

My cunning plan that slinks like a weasel has borne fruit! Tomorrow, I shall be doing a coro loop, followed by a Hornet Swarm ride!

Now lets plan a route, slap it dowh a gear, ride it around a roundabout, and fishtail off the mark! (oh wait, thats right - we don't work it out until we just about get set to leave!)
