Walked in the door right on 10:00
I don't think I've ever been so wet, faaaaark did it rain from Appleby on. Otherwise it was a good ride.

My socks were dry.

What was the sheila by the horse going on about?
Pointing out more cool places to ride?

A knobblish front would have been nice but the 705 did well. Very well coming back once past the wet clay.

She was asking if we'd seen any other vehicles, 'parrently they've had a bit of trouble with poachers. She was nice enough to warn me about her other half coming back in.
I had a dry spot on the bit of my sock behind the knee/shin gaurd. I had to get some gas on the way home, I reeeally couldn't be arsed taking of anything more than gloves. I don't know what the guy thought when I rocked in with my helmet on and mp3 going, threw $10 on the counter and walked out, leaving a trail of water

And I had a muffin for tea

Unfortunately I had to go into the telecom shop & they showed me the new touch screen darleck or something phones with gps & internet.

I had to remind myself all I need is one with a loud ring

Yes we got wet we did but it was a bloody good ride. I walked into the house in my underwear and damn near scared the crap outta my mother in law.How was I sposed to know she was there?

Driving to work this morning in my nice warm car I had to giggle seeing Jatz on the big riding to work in the rain. Bet that was fun putting on your wet gear this morning young fulla?

Totaranui gravel road is clean (no grader yet)...as of 19.dec/sunday....'no' traffic even on sunday (3cars)...twisties from pohara awesome as always...loopies on way...last chance for a while...
