Shall we start a book on whether its going to rain? Metvuw is predicting dry skys from North Otago down to Central from midday Wednesday till late Sunday. Metservice (and TV1 tonight) are predicting showers/drizzle from Tuesday till Sunday in North Otago and something similar in Central Otago.

My monies on Metvuw for the weekend but probably wet tomorrow and Wednesday.

Only half of the engine is actually attached to the bike at the moment, the rest is scattered around the garage. Note to self: dont start repairs the weekend before the dusty as you will likely snap a bolt that only suzuki can supply it will hopefully be here tomorrow/wed. Not much else to sort out really though, just a bashplate, change the rear tyre, replace the broken brake lever, roll chart box, work out how my gps works, and umm.... hope that i dont fuck anything else up. see u there...... maybe

It seemed to point completely the wrong way at times.
I'm kinda thinking he might almost be better using something else in that Data Field on the mappage display
The Map60csx compass page was a bit better, thing that got me was at one time the compass and pointer were pointing opposite directions on the 60csx. We were practically stopped on a via point though so maybe the compass was ahead of the pointer if that's even possible?

Anyway think it was a good learning trip for thepom as there is definately a nack to navigating by these toys.
To those that say why or whats the point, I came up with my answer today, it's like i get to do two hobbies at once. Ride and play with a mini computer thingy. yay

Finally put a camera mount on my Shoei so was testing that as well... stupid cameras.

i want really serious re wjats the point ..my humour seems to be lacking lately

Another slack bugger here - motor sitting loose in frame (from gearbox re-build) but nothing connected yet. Spent most of the weekend trying to find "missing" rear engine mount. Garage looks like a bomb site from tipping out boxes of crap, thinking I had put it somewhere stupid. Didn't make sense cause I was sure I kept all the bits together. However it was months ago & I was starting to doubt myself.
Resigned that I must have thrown it out with rubbish, I got an engineer mate to fabricate one. Then last night while trying to fit it for drilling, I realised that the brake switch bracket is also the rear engine mount, DORK.
Still got a long way to go though.....
