Shall we start a book on whether its going to rain? Metvuw is predicting dry skys from North Otago down to Central from midday Wednesday till late Sunday. Metservice (and TV1 tonight) are predicting showers/drizzle from Tuesday till Sunday in North Otago and something similar in Central Otago.
My monies on Metvuw for the weekend but probably wet tomorrow and Wednesday.

Only half of the engine is actually attached to the bike at the moment, the rest is scattered around the garage. Note to self: dont start repairs the weekend before the dusty as you will likely snap a bolt that only suzuki can supplyit will hopefully be here tomorrow/wed. Not much else to sort out really though, just a bashplate, change the rear tyre, replace the broken brake lever, roll chart box, work out how my gps works, and umm.... hope that i dont fuck anything else up. see u there...... maybe

Bit of drizzle would be a good thing i reckon. No friggen dust. Hate dust.
Also may be a bit cooler as last year was bloody hot and i damn near dehydrated on day one.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
2011....Has a great ring to it...
Whatever it is, weather, circumstance, act of that person upstairs...etc.
Have fun, enjoy and ride that magnificent South Island fellas......
Be it slow, fast or dodging puddles or fords.....Just enjoy.
Jealous....yes.....(No need for a Tui ad here)
But what about the rivers?
Would somebody please think about the rivers.

Another slack bugger here - motor sitting loose in frame (from gearbox re-build) but nothing connected yet. Spent most of the weekend trying to find "missing" rear engine mount. Garage looks like a bomb site from tipping out boxes of crap, thinking I had put it somewhere stupid. Didn't make sense cause I was sure I kept all the bits together. However it was months ago & I was starting to doubt myself.
Resigned that I must have thrown it out with rubbish, I got an engineer mate to fabricate one. Then last night while trying to fit it for drilling, I realised that the brake switch bracket is also the rear engine mount, DORK.
Still got a long way to go though.....
