Yes the fanaticism towards traffic policing is undue I feel- but I would not know what it is like firsthand anywhere else apart from Asian countries that can not compare. What is it like in UK and AUS?

I have always been of the opinion that Watson's innocence will be questioned further once Pope has gone. There seems to be two issues. The shoddy gathering of evidence against Watson and the presentation of this evidence in court.
I think it will take a whistle blower from Popes team to kick start this. The legal side will be much more difficult as established reputations are more difficult to dislodge.
Still with Pope retired it's a step in the right direction.
