Bottom of the North Tag-O-Rama

Well I had a look up the dams behind Shannon at the weekend, and then continued on through North Range rd, and back down the gravel in the Wairarapa. Only thing I saw up the dams was a lot of logging beside the road on the first half, and some Sections for sale about 5km in on the gravel. Oh and a Police car just after the turn off for Tokomaru valley road.

Think this tag might be in the Waitarere Forest somewhere?

Nah it was dark by the time I got to Masterton Joe, so I had a quick stop for fuel, and headed home.

i need to leave earlier in the day for these day rides I think

it was about where i thought it was but the last time i didnt go into this little forest which was marked NO ENTRY TO MOTORISED VEHICLES
a forest right at the end of Gladstone Road Levin
It was a bit further in than i thought every turn and rise i thought i would see the tree but eventually saw the distinctive tree in the distance.I went past a couple and their dog they didnt look too upset but they didnt look pleased either!

Well done, and I thought JMJ was kidding when back in October he said someone would get in this year...
