Hey guys don't get me wrong -In my opinion anyone that loots someones home is utter scum.
what worries me is that people are on an utter knife edge emotionally and would do things that a rational human being wouldn't do.
Its not the scumbags I'm worried about -its the jail sentence the poor bastard that beats em up will likely faqce that worries me.
Me I reckon throw the fuckers in MT eden prisons oldest/dampest most decrepid section and feed em on bread n water.,

Sadly criminals are selfish by nature. Take what they have off them and see how they feel then.

Let the families of the victims turn up to the looters own homes and have them ransacked and then burned.

Then jail them and use them as prison soap holders in the shower block for 20 years.

No idea of the legalities of this situation.

Have always been totally opposed to arming our police force.

Wish the cops on the ground in CHCH were armed ATM, so they can dispatch looters to their maker, quick smart and without risk of penality personally.

Sickening to think we share air space with people that think it ok to take advantage in this situation.

Done of a bot of a search and found that most of the looters from the last quake got jail time but some just community service. Heard tonight that the found the dicks who stole the generators, police said they were opposing bail.

Love to see the LAV's in the city. Hell there is armoured vehicles patroling the streets in New Zealand, thats weird.

Whats more weird is i am camping on my back lawn on the internet under a torch.
