High risk times according to who?

Do you think they'll let me stand on the top of the Grand Chancellor on May 20th and Shout "Ken Rings an arsehole"?

Hell, they may even pay you.

It was a terrible piece of work. If Campbell is that stressed over Chch he should bugger off for a vacation. Sounded like some weirdo preacher forcing his beliefs onto someone else. Ken Ring went up in my opinion since he didn't cower yet kept putting his view across, which is the point of an interview I believe.
I spent approx 5 mins on hold to tv3 waiting to register a complaint.

I like the "qualified" scientists. They provided so much warning of an earthquake to the population...
They can do lots of clever stuff after one though.

Whether or not you agree or accept Ring's theory, I do not believe now is the correct time for him to promote his Science, John Campbell has also added to the confusion and in some cases undermining of the populations confidence with his interview style.

I actually believe the 30second bite, saturation media coverage is adding to general feelings of despair and hopelessness many will be feeling in New Zealand. Our TV newsmakers fail miserably in their role of mass education sensationalism seems their sole motivation.

On Saturday I had to work and in doing so listened to National radio - Kim Hill, she conducted a series of in depth interviews with people who are recognised as specialists in the fields around the activities in ChCh, her interviewing remained precise on topic and extremely educational, I for one felt after her show that I had a much greater understanding of what is going on at present and with interviews with people who have been involved with both recovery of the peoples as well as cities around the world can see that in time ChCh will possibly have a future many NZ'ers will be envious of. This in a small way was demonstrated with Napier's recovery and the place Napier holds in NZ's hearths and economy. The lose of life is horrific, the psychological effects on ChCh's people will last along time, but from this will hopefully in time come a new direction which will excite and unite her survivors.
Don't judge me based upon your ignorance.

Tears shed by all at the gathering of about 50 people where I was, as the heavens opened up and cried with us, followed by our National Anthem

Agreed. I think Mike McRoberts has been the pick of the tv journos so far. As for that troll from radio NZ in the CD bunker in Wellington in the first couple of days:

John Campbell's apology tonight was genuine and heartfelt. I think he realised he had fucked up and was willing to admit it and apologise.

Ring is still an idiot and even the Wizard has no time for him or his theories. And there will be no more earthquakes because Jesus has been araldited to the ledge.
