    reporting in , twas a biggie , but our building are rubber mounted so all good

    Hope no one is hurt , I was welding at the time , ,, hard to run a straight bead ,,, might grind it off and start again

    We did. We sat open mouthed as the cars got picked up off the highway and redirected, people standing on bridges watching the water and not fully realising that being on the bridge was a really bad place to be, what with the houses, boats, trucks etc... ploughing towards it... fack

    I went to Japan a couple of years back. Met alot of new people. My thoughts are with them and there families at this time. Personally I was praying that Christchurch would be the end of this nightmare. I now regret to think that this is just the beginning.

    Also 8 are reported to have passed

    They just said it's the largest measured since they started recording 140 years ago!
