Katiepie. Very sorry to hear of the accident, especially after such joy of a new toy.
Heal up well and behave while you are doing that. A mate had a full halo and chest armour after fracturing a vertebre and he healed up very well indeed.
The armour will provide ample space for sponsorship stickers and team autographs...

You have loads of help from the Wellie crew, so you will be well looked after!

    Heal quickly and well!

Hey, I had no idea about this, and I'm so sorry to hear about it. I had no idea till I saw the "donations" thread that she'd even binned it. Dangerous beasts the R6: another guy I know binned his before christmas.

Heal up soon! or if not soon, well....

    Yeah, can understand that.

I'm in Wellington on Monday for work and was going to divert into the hospital to say a quick hello. My day is pretty rigid with back to back meetings but I have managed to escape for a while and was going to go in at 11.00am. I wont be able to stay long but if that suits everyone then sweet with me.

Dead ends both ways around there. No wonder no one or not many vehicles came past.

I double parked the truck outside with the beacons on at lunchtime to drop in a little biker teddy we got for her. Was greeted with a huge smile and the same personality we all love, so much so she wouldn't let me get a word in telling me how good the appeal ride was on Saturday!

It will definitely take time, but I have no doubt whatsoever that she will bounce back as bright as ever. I pity the physio that will be hearing 'get me back on my bike'!

Yeah mate, she was definitely much brighter today, the physios were coming in to try and sit her up just as I left today.
