No probs at all - the first largish creek near the St Arnaud end was much easier than I remember; just gravel bed (the previous concrete one is broken downstream of current ford). Much less water generally than last time (pic is of ford past toll gate). Molesworth fords also similarly dry.

Leaning toward the trail ride to see how the bike goes.
I'll be there, Just finished building a new bike rack for the 4wd so i don't need the trailer

Well the ol roota's good to go now, so far i've removed
-headlight
-Indicators
-tail light/numberplate
-Speedo
-speedo cable (capped drive on hub)
-switch block from left side of bars
-ignition switch (hotwired)
-Swapped headlight shroud for one off the wrecked KDX for that abused dirt bike look
-mirror
and probably some other rubbish that's not needed.
Also fitted a shiny new set of michilen S12xc's
