Of course it was your fault

You should have got out and negotiated with him

May his head hurt on a level that wont have destroyed the single brain cell he "was" using

I've got a funny islander story like that - big hit on the side of the head. thought we'd killed him. stopped breathing for a bit, but we couldn't stick around to find out. interestingly, if i had have had a firearm that night, he would almost definately be dead.

He was Tongan. Being born and bred, in Mangere. I would be more concerned for the forecourt, than his head.

In 1979 when I was fifteen yrs old I ran over an drunk pacific islander outside the old Mt Wellington Trust, while riding a 70's Kwaka H1 triple.

My mate behind me on my GT380 then ran him over too while he lay on the road.

In hospital A and E the island dude had tyre marks on his white shirt that he was wearing in the lounge bar. My mate on the back was a bit head knocked but was fine, I was smarting from lost skin, but the drunk island guy who got smacked by both bikes was walking around (wearing his white shirt with tyre marks) just looking a bit shocked.

Bloody Classic story LOL, have heard many an Ak Cab Driver tell me there's no point smacking a drunk Tongan in the head - the vibration thru the hammer will be worse than they would feel, lol

    Hope your Ute is Okay
