The only bike I can think of that is nominally 600cc but bigger than 599cc is Yamaha's SRX600 @ 608cc.
Totally agree, compare a CBR600RR 110 hp against a DL650 (V-Strom) 60 hp, the laws were made by people who clearly don't ride bikes or if they do, don't have a clue.

Because not everyone wants 170hp, I don't think I've ever had a bike with more than 80hp and I think it unlikely I ever will because of the type of bikes I like

Nah, that's why he swings on sidecars.

I don't need an penis extension like all the Gixxer 1000 riding faggots

that attitude is the minority, and thats the way they want it.

I say fuck them, and have a litrebike, and unless its outside of my control, I will not go back to a smaller capacity machine.

There is the 636 Ninja as well, if you could say 36cc is nominal.

No you couldn't. You missed my point completely. If there HAS to be differential Rego charging then the 636 SHOULD be charged the most expensive levy. Put a '95 ZX7RR on the track with a 636 and watch the 636 sprint into the distance.

I personally think that if there HAS to be graduated tiers of Rego then it should be on a power to weight ratio, not a cc rating. A Wee-Strom and a 636 are in no way similar and one could easily be ridden as a first bike by a learner. It isn't the 636.

I wondered what had happend to ya mate hadn't heard much about you lately. Long Gully was my haunt of the late 70's and have only been there recently on the Capital Coast rides. Always fun there huh!

Probably a bigger can of worms.

Having the line at 600 rather than 650 however is fucking stupid.

if i get sprung, beating the cop over the head with my tyre pando will cause some delay in arrest, but the eventual outcome of being put in club mt eden doesnt actually sound too bad, actually ive always wanted a gym but couldnt afford it

Go for a cell on the motorway side and practice catching tennis balls.
