The South Island boys would probably expect me to say something like "Us Southies are as tough as nails..." but little do they know, I am actually from the backblocks of the North Island (Waikune National Park)

There are plenty of dedicated riders NZ wide happy to endure a bit of cold or wet weather all in the aim for a good ride maybe its just a case of the softies needing to take some advice from good old Chopper

LOL enjoyed that ADVGD,thanks Have seen before as oldest son into Chopper, but that had new relevance. I would be hopeless in the cold water (a girl thing) but have done the "monkey butt" thing with a 1064k ride in 23hrs on the 200 last Nov. Can I join your Clan now ?

Well don't rush out to Kaiapoi, our house went up and down yesterday, TV is definitely a flat screen now

I was in the shed getting the DR650 out when the 6.3 hit, my partner Deb was panicking, I was to busy holding on to the bike, looking after the toys first. I would have been gutted if the bike fell over.
    Cheers Paul

I know it is hard to get a good girlfriend, more concerned about herself than my bikes, oh well back to the drawing board.

    WANTED ADD

Wanted, girlfriend not freaked out by major earthquakes, must be able to hold two bikes at the same time and smile during earthquake,

PS looks like I am eating by myself again tonight.
    Cheers Paul

What about Reefton Nordieboy!!!...... you would be pissed off to if you were left in Reefton on your own, with nothing to do while you boys were out having fun!!!!...

    Deb

As for being deserted during the earthquakes, while he took care of his girlfriends in the garage....... .... ok ok not that mad was pleased he didn't let the DR fall over, but certainly wasn't rushing into the garage to hold the other 2 bikes up!!! buggar that I was to busy panicking and trying to get out of the house....
