It should be getting 190km to a tank though.

    That's what I woulda thought
Being an ex KLR rider I woulda thought you would look at cheaper options than a new/bigger tank.
I.E. jetting, muffler, float level, gearing.
How far does Topo get to a tank ?

Don't try to talk me out of it Jatz Iwill have a much much bigger tank than yours and my bike is fuel injected. The previous owner did it when he bored it out to 860cc. In fact I believe it is the fastest DRZ in New Zealand. It did 11secs at Meremere. Straight up

I've only just realised the extra brackets the rearof the bike are for the wheelie bars since he told me. Frick it's fast... really really fricking fast... faster than a fricking fast thing with a fifty fricking knot wind up its fricking freckle.

really really fricking fast... woooh its fast yessiree

Looks like yous had fun up there. Padders its a bloody good thing you have a bike thats nice and easy to pick up.
I just went for a quick spin up Ben nevis, and really nothing all that interesting happened at all. Badly need a new rear tyre and really really really need to find my front brake.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Ya shoulda joined us. What is soo much easier with the DRZ is there isn't that worry about if its a dead end how to get your bike back out. The place has def dried out after a few days of sunshine.

Wanna know how fast my bike is???

How far does Topo get to a tank ?

Topo gets, around 100km to a tank doing XC's and anywhere between 140 and 160km on gravel roads being easy on the throttle movements (it's the AP that does it!)

Padmei, if you put a bigger tank on it you'll start using it for rides where you should be using the beemer, also if you are looking for tanks the yamaha wrf400/425 one will fit with very minor mods apparently. I'll find the thread on adv later.

Last round of the Nelson XC series is on the 10th of July, come and show off all this "speed" you rave of
