    I think I'd struggle to Trail ride a 1200GS!!!

This way I can change my wheels, strip off the Soft luggage and racks and go trail riding......and when I get home refit the bells and whistles and go for an Adventure ride. SWEET!!!

Have you read Pachows (I think that's his name) site. It is quite good.

    http://www.paochow.com/DRZguide/DRZguide.php

Iwould read his caution on the front page.Basically he's saying if you're spending shitloads of money on what is basically a very basic bike you may be better off buying something different.

Just saying from one drz owner to another

Cheeers but getting/got a safari. Apparently I have to checkout the jetting on mine as it may be not quite stock.

Finally got my suspension done by Rob Taylor at CKT. What an amazing difference. Bike handles fantastic!

Made the new Ohlins shock 3mm longer than stock to make the handling even better, raising the rear by 8-9mm.

However..... after 320+ km's my seat is offically about as popular with my arse as a fart in a elevator.

I think my next purchase will be a more comfortable seat!

Thanks m,ate but I'll leave it for now. Later on, if I get a bigger tank I will probably go with the Safari. Thanks for the offer though.
