Yeah, I was even cheering on Pedro to catch George, but we got the best result for the championship standings (other than a Stoney DNF).

Got to concur there Doctor! The ultimate scenario will be for Lorenzo to run down and just overhaul Stoners points lead at the final round.
Apples for apples if they were on the same bikes Lorenzo is the better rider.

I'd be willing to bet you that wouldn't be the case. We all know Pedrosa is one of the fastest guys out there ever. Ain't stopped Stoner beating him more often than the other way round. I reckon Stoner could bloody near win on the Suzuki.

Yeah lets see Lorenzo on a Ducati. I can't wait.

    Certainly worked for the Doctor

Edit : KR Snr never really rated Freddie Spencer. ' Good riders can go fast on a good bike, it takes an exceptional rider to go fast on a bad bike ' or words to that effect

Only Stoner has come close to going fast on a Ducati

Fuck that's a big call. I love Lorenzo's style and am in awe of Stoner's... they're just really different.

If they were both on the same bike it would probably come down to who could handle the pressure better... that just might be Lorenzo. Give the man a cigar.

Lorenzo is smooth like Eddie Lawson etc...Stoner more like Wayne Gardner or Revvin Kevin!

What's wrong with having one big thread called, oh I don't know, let's say "Interested in MotoGP"?

Knew that would start something Peter! But I'm biased and dont like Stoner. I also like Yamahas, a lot.
