No. I was impressed. The wheelie was actually pretty average until we realised he had just one arm. Then it was fecking impressive.

Picture this. Last night 11pm, riding home on my mount. At the lights I stop for red. No one around. Still I waited for the green then took off faster then usual, but not breaking the speed limit. Front got light but no wheelie. There was a silver commy behind me tho that I failed to notice. Then wahaa. red and blue lights. I pulled over and mr plod gets out and walks over. Checks me, checks the bike, the license. Usual b/s. Then asks me if I am in a hurry or just playing around. I said, well, I let the clutch too quick and the front got light, but then I realised and backed right off. He gave me a warning and before walking off said that next time i will get a fine for "Driving in a manner likely to cause annoyance". I looked around and asked him, who am I likely to annoy when there isin't anyone around. He said that it would be him.

    Fuckin' plonker he was........

Annoyed that you'd got away quicker than he did. They're just legitimised boy racers at heart.

Still, never ever heard of a charge of "Driving in a manner likely to cause annoyance" FFS, you are either annoying or you are not. How can they tax you for doing something that does not but may piss someone off.......

In other words (laymans term) you are doing something now that while it doesn't now, in the future might be illigal??? WTF!!!

Had a friend get a ticket called "Accelerating with intent to speed". Horseshit, I think.

Is 80% a good score on the poll?

Was that part of the boy racer bill? Along with giving cops the ability to decide on their own accord if you took off from the lights too fast? Unnecessary acceleration I think it's called.

No, it's been in for years.

And Unnecessary Display of Acceleration it's called, must be linked to another offence (speeding, lights not on, failing to indicate whatever - it's complicated, look it up or call into your local cop-shop and speak to somebody in the know - not all cops know about it properly)
