Nah that's not nearly bling enough!

I was out at Maraetai today with the family (sans bike). Such a mint day, and HEAPS of bikes were out, all sorts. Have to say that I've never seen so many different gixxers in one day, seemed like every second bike was a gixxer. There were 3 groups of 2-4 bikes that were composed of nothing but gixxers, and 1 of those groups was 3 bikes in the same yellow/black paint scheme. Heard them all coming way before I saw them. What a lovely sight

Where's the trackday for the Hyos (Toto, wanpo)? I'd be interested in wombling along for the morning, if you don't mind another random hanger-on (who is a decent hand with a spanner).

Also, I've had it suggested that this might be amusing to do on Queen Street sometime for the lulz:
    R.I.P. Kotaka - Honda CBR250RR 1990 MC22 - my first bike.

That biker is Mordeth13 , search for his youtube videos - he is epic.

The track day is at Hampton Downs Race track and is for any bike, not just hyosungs.

You can find out when there are track days on the website www.hamptondownsridedays.co.nz

here is a link to a google map of where it is - http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Hampto...src=6&t=m&z=13

Weather looks neither foul nor fair, 'tis reason enough to adopt the usual refrain!

If all be well and good, then let steeds run afar,
If pell-mell and peaked with heavens' liquid bounty, shackle thy mount!

No riding for me tonight. Waiting until my fork seals are done this week. Fork oil sliding down towards the brakes makes me a wee bit wary.

No kidding! Last time I had a fork seal leak was on SH22, riding on gravel, downhill left corner and when I needed to scrub off some speed ... nada! Ended up slipping across the road, in front of a 4x4! There was quite a distance between us, but still was a puckering time! (my lil'ol'hornet)

I will start a seperate thread and offer up $100 if this is done....there will be a couple of stipulations for that $100... time/proof/location...etc.
