This is a complete collection from a Pommy mech that arrived in NZ in 1960 and serviced everything Austin and Morris (and of course MG, Wolseley, and Riley with BMC and Leyland).

I am quite sad that they have to go, as I remember all the valve grinds and clutches, cams and webber carb replacements we decided to do on the minis and 1100s/1300s we built together when I was getting my initiation into cars in the early 80's.

As much as I would love to hold on to the Mini we have up for sale, it's not that practical for us right now so the gear is here if you want it.

Tell you what, you can have the car and all the tools as a package if you like. You would probably get that for less than it would cost for just the tools in ten years time.
Hey mate, that's a great offer.

No room for any other cars with the landcrab back in my ownership, but might be keen on some of the tools.

Depends what you have and what is gonna work on my Wolseley landcrab. Don't happen to have a Hydroelastic pump?

Of all the things no, but have ascertained where at least two are or were (last hour on the phone to ma n' pa). Will follow up leads for you in the next coupla days and am semi confident knowing the old fuckers that had 'em that I'll find one for you to buy or borrow.

You'll owe me a beer old man.

And BTW the mini and tools are no longer for sale, had a chat with TPTB and I'm gonna keep the lot.

    Sorry.

    Not really.

Tools will still be available for an horrendous rental price. Souls will be accepted as part payment.

Will do. I'm a bit teary eyed that she's gonna be around for awhile yet.

No mods for this one like the mental 1380's with Allegro diff's that did sub 6 sec 0-60's (with a top speed of 95mph) that we used to build!

Never bored one out past that but the books reckoned you could get to 1440!

Never needed it meself, left a few embarrased 8's and porsches at the lights (until we hit 80)!

And in Clubmans too you knockers (read tits).

She won't be doing much except weddings and funerals. I will keep you up to date with progress over the next decade however.

Here's a pic in case you forgot what she looked like.
