Years ago I had an Austin Cambridge, nothing to skite about I know, anyway she started to run pretty rough so I pulled the head off and found the valves and seats in a terrible state. My neighbor had a Datsun Bluebird rusting away on his lawn and he told me that Datsun had copied the Austin motor and the head might fit my cambridge.Sure enough it bolted straight on.It had the added advantage of larger valves and a two barrel downdraugh carb.Looking for more goodies I pulled the rest of the motor to bits and was amazed to find MOWOG embossed on the conrods! It had Datsun cast on the block and the neighbour told me his oldman had bought the car brand new and it had never been apart before.

Haven't seen one of them in yonks!
A mate of mine found a Morrie locally, so he popped over and persuaded me to look at it (that wasn't hard)

Sadly it was more of a project than I want Really quite superbly rusted.

I kind of want to, but, all my project time is for the bike at the moment (it will be amazing when it's done!)

I saw that panel van and keep thinking about it, I'd trade my Corolla for it lol
