    Two-stroke 125cc questions

My gf wants a motorbike cos her scooter doesn't go fast enough (I told her it was gay when she got it) so we've been looking at small 125ish cc bikes. We looked at this one today. I don't really know that much about 2 strokes, what kind of things should I know about them before buying one?
Pistons come in packs of four, if you only have 2 you got ripped off.

100 percent user servicable unless you are a complete mongoloid. Check it out. Only then will you know if you are happy enough with the condition for the dollars.

As has been said, $300 bucks is what I pay for a tyre.

Cheers for the heads up though, if you don't want it I will pick it up for the nephew down there at uni next year.

Looks good for 266,000k. I'd get it for that number on the clock alone if it was in Welly.

Not alot, put oil and fuel in it, otherwise its like any other bike.

Get a manual for it, Haynes do one.

I'd buy it if I was allowed any more bikes. Shit, I'm considering selling a couple and getting a road H or MB.

Yeah but you could bore everyone senseless about it's millage and how back in the old days of the 80's biking was real biking, park it outside WCC during harley demo days and compare build quality after 100,000 etc.

Oh oh oh AND leave clouds of two stroke smoke up Kent tce

That got a laugh out of me. As much as I wouldn't mind having it I am only thinking about the nephew next year.

Hmm, the year after that though...

    Check it well!!!.

I don't believe the mileage. On old bikes 3 hundie could grow quickly with things like clutches, headstock bearings, et al.

Looking forward to it. Does your 'partner' know that you refer to him as a dog?

Not sure but he knows he's not a Cat or a Rabbit and I'm a bloody wierd human to tolerate just for the occasional venison sausage. Oh and when the Dog Box goes on the bike he'd better get ready for an adventure.
