That mountain bike one was very slick, almost made me feel like riding a bicycle.
Next dry weekend, I want to try getting around the same(ish) bits on the DR with the Shinko 705's.
The only dodgy bits would be down into the Gun Club Valley and the final bit up to Isolation Trig.

Thanks for putting that together for us Nordie. Quite amazing how you managed to get round without loosing the camera on some tree/bush. Greasy track...is there a crash reel coming?

You negotiated the track like a real pro....I hate down hills with ruts and mud at the bottom....I always imagine myself losing the front end....usually a case where perception equals reality
    ....wherezz that track go

By the time I got to people, they were vertical again.

    A very slow pro.
I over think things too so I ride very much within my limits which is not ideal for racing but great for adventuring.

That downhill at the end, the fast(er) guys (and girls) were taking 3-4 times faster than me. Gave me the shits each time and then you see someone come down as though it wasn't even worth the effort.

    It's not that bad!
Although the pruning saw did get a good workout and it's not its fault I can't deadlift 125kg over a tree trunk a metre in the air... The riverbank modification tool got a good workout too backtracking from that one...
I'm taking the chainsaw to those buggers next time.
