Mate that information came directly from the organisers (your) mouth that it was suzukis decision.

It was also said that you were very lucky to be even running a BEARS class due to the fact Suzuki could not race.

Regardless of all this I dont think it is such a bad decision and I dont think there is any conspiracy on it from Suzukis behalf, they are the major sponsor of the series and they are just trying to make it as good as possible. Having a couple of bikes 10 secs a lap faster then anything else looks a bit odd.

There needs to be a better line in the sand drawn though, excluding a few bikes or a few riders because they are too fast is not the way.

If the decision gets changed its gonna hurt me anyway cause im riding the HP2.

Its not fair on people like Vicky on the RSV4 though

    Very explanatory! (care to elaborate?)

"I am one of the organisers so I know the reasons why and why not"...well bully to you!...cos the actual competitors don't!

...and for the record.....this type of shit is why I gave up racing yrs ago!...to many fucking desk jockey wannabe racers making up bullshit twisted rules to suit their "friends" & sponsors.

It's no less fair than for the rest of the racers on their jappa's.

That's how they ran it when I was in WA. "Historics" ran their own meetings, with classes for buckets and Clubman's (who also raced normal meetings) giving the newer racers plenty of track time, and leaving the Road Racing Club to concentrate on the main classes.

EDIT: I farkin' love that HP2, it's one of the coolest bikes going around.

So what is the reason that some BEAR's eligible bikes are not allowed to enter in the BEAR's class?

so is the better way to exclude a large proportion of the slower riders then cause they're too slow?

This is true, Suzuki are great for our sport and without them and the other manufacturers the sport wouldnt be what it is.

Why the need to exclude anyone? Its racing isn't it? Best equipment and rider win on the day

Maybe they just need to call the class something else?

Kinda be the same as saying anyone called Stroud can't race SBK this year eh?
