So I was accidentally riding the long way home, that involves SH16, and coastville riverhead highway and whatnot, and I rode past the Shell in Massey that we would normally fuel up before taking that route. Was a bunch of riders in the same spot, watching me go past. I'm loving how many bikers I'm seeing on the roads at the moment.
that was the NASS (North auckland street skills ride. you should come along sometime - good bunch of people. And if you are really lucky you will get to meet some of the bike cops - some really cool stories and knowledge we are getting from them. They support the ride !00%

Ride every day for 4 months? I ride almost every day full stop. And I pop down to the South Island usually once a year

I never said I'd ride every day! i said i had four months holiday and there will be plenty of riding in that time - i do do other things other than ride!

Didn't you know Tracy, if you don't ride your motorcycle for a certain amount of time per day you are deemed unworthy of the no-lifer biker gods that we are shadowed under.

How DARE you have other activities to do and friends to see!

    How was the ride guys?

Was planning to do the coro loop on sat, but K2 was on, so went riding via old northroad/sh16 through to kaiwaka and off to maungawhai, then upto Waipu for a bit, then back.

Decided that 300k wasnt enough, and took the gf to parakai via a similair route for dinner.

Also finally got round to fully cleaning the chain. Pulled off the front sprocket/chain cover, and there was soo much gunk hidden behind it. Half a can of degreaser and several rags and a toothbrush later, and the bike is finally fit to be seen in public again.

    But, of course!

Same place, same time! (6pm by the Auckland Public Library as per usual!)

Hopefully someone has an idea for a ride - otherwise we can do the classic ride and go up some mounts! (Gremlin is infamous for going off road on this!)

    Excellent.

Hunua perhaps? Or is Hunua the classic mount ride you are referring to?

I wouldn't mind leading out via the St. Helliers GP, found a dodgy ass road some of you might not know.

Hasn't GiJoe led us through that reserve in different pieces before? I don't pay much attention to where he goes... it would only send you mad.

Skipped this one, only got home around 6.45pm from Turangi.
