If they're losing 400ccs each time they would have to be on a DRZ or XR this time -the seats are getting narrower & narrower

Cue the 3rd part of the holy trinity of BMW breakdowns... you'll be able to collect the full set: buggered final drive, blown shock & dead fuel pump

I'm picking they will hit Melbourne on a postie bike, having gone through all the "big" adventure bikes available

Trademe, and yes, they work very well. I'm not sure where exactly on Trademe, but I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you when they can.

    Windblockers or something...

Juat a quick Hello to everybody
We're still riding bike #3 I'm not going to say it's going well and jinx it ....
All the pics are in the p.c on the bike ATM so no pics for this post We're in Clare valley library just now and will be in Adelaide tonight, so I may be able to stick some pics up later.
For anybody who's coming over..... Aus is HUGE !!! .....who knew

The windjammers are good Eddie, although they don't like the rain and take a bit of breaking in, we got them to cut down on wind noise for the intercom.
Did you get the postcard Piglet ?

    Cyew...

Right.... I has interweb.... a bottle of Bundie and some catching up to do Lets see how far I get before my nomad connection finishes...

Here I am in Albany sending my waiting for the new bike....

So, we picked up the new ride, a later model GS1200, with the front wheel off our old one on it and set sale for Esperance, 477k's away and it was after lunch, time to press on...
We met this little fellah on the way, he wasn't happy about being shifted of the road

Anyway, we got to esperance by early evening and had a brew up while deciding where to sleep, we ended up at a campground where a little haggling was needed to get the price down to something acceptable

Next day we made our way to Belladonia, via Norseman

Thay grow a lot of wheat around these parts

I thought this sign was appropriate

There is some salt lakes on the way, I was tempted to try the GS on it, dont tell MrsJ though

There had ben a big H.O.G. convention on in Margaret River so we have been leapfroging Harleys all the way east, theyre not a bad bunch once you getem talking, even getting a few waves and nods now

We met this couple(Bevan and Andrea) from the "Naki" in Norseman, they are traveling round Australia, clockwise, I'll post upa link to their blog when I get it. They said they know you PhreakyPhil small world aye...

They took this pic of us

BTW.... flies were shocking in Norseman

Anyway, we pressed on to Belladonia roadhouse for the night and our campsite

Now it gets a little boring...
    The next day was......

and here's a little bit of it

We saw Eagles and ........ not much else, but it is interesting none the less. There was flocks of budgies who perched on the road, they hurt at 120+k's DAMHIK
After lots of straight roads and very few corner, a $4.50 trumpet at Cocklebiddy and a $5.00 chocolate milk at Nullabore roadhouse.
We went to see some Bundda (?) cliffs, quite impressive

and had a look at the old telegraph at Eucla

And just incase you thought we were'nt getting of the seal....
