That's it in a nutshell.
It's human nature to absolve ourselves of blame, and it is never any more apparent than bikers looking for excuses for why they fell off. The old "I was getting my knee down at the roundabout, and fell off because of a man-hole cover / tar snake / oil / diesel / fucking cager / blah blah...".
These guys fucked up. It's no big deal - provided that they (and more so their supporters) are willing to accept it. Until then, they're going to get more derision than sympathy.
Can I believe the magic of your size... (The Shirelles)
Purely and simply the road is solely to blame, evident by the fact that every bike on the ride fell over. Oh wait.
Blame, Excuses, Denial = Fail
I guess since Bubbas got hurt and roads won't be fixed any time soon youll be staying home then. Or fitting trainer wheels.
"I don't like it, and I'm sorry I ever had anything to do with it." -- Erwin Schrodinger talking about quantum mechanics.
Oh hey I remember riding that road. I remember that part and thinking, "Cripes, this is a nasty bit of road right here."
Then I kept riding because I was riding within my own personal limits.

You saw straight through me, it's true. As I was coming through the slight corner, the road jumped up with a knife, slashed my tyres and then man-raped me as I was lying in the bitumen.
I still have white paint in some areas.
:(
Regardless of the official verdict on cause of this multiple vehicle accident....what's the bet this bit of road will be resealed before the end of summer?
