I am going to have to regretfully pull out of this.

Just been messaged by the 2 guys who are coming from overseas to tour on bikes that I promised a room and also a tiki tour of up North to on that weekend.

Knew I had something on around then but couldn't remember what it was. I will be there with my thoughts though.

I think I am going to be more in need of a foot massage on Sunday myself, I hope to hell this poxy boot is gone by then. Mind you, as a contingency I have talked to my physio about how I can manage this with a broken ankle

yep already took leave....will have to work late

, and as for your participation on the walkathon......we could put you on a skateboard thingy and have you pulled, this way you will be in motion at all times.....

Can i book a couch guys,was thinking its a bit hard getting battens to North Shore for start if 10.00am or 11.00am but this doesn't start till 4pm.So might see if can fly saturday early,but unsure,more likely get mid friday afternoon flight.

Hey Maha, one other thing. I'll be leaving Auckland on Wednesday 22nd February, in the morning, to head to Picton by evening. If you want me to take batons (assuming they're not large) down at the same time, happy to drop off in Wellington somewhere that afternoon before jumping on the ferry.

I'll be at Paeroa during the weekend prior, as well... if that helps for passing batons to me.
