The pic without me had a better mount set up.
My lights ran a separate mount to the fairing so I could remove it if I wanted, they could be (and were) adjusted. The lights were aftermarket and shit. Getting Honda ones would be far better and still cheap.
The fairing worked well, made it much nicer on windy days.
A CBR250R MC19 fairing may look nicer as it's not as wide.
Or something retro? I had a Givi screen but, sold it with the CB400, they work okay too.
The CBR250RR MC22 can motor up to 180 without drama and continues to claw speed. But the twisties is where it's at with a bike like this. You can be left behind by bigger bikes, and outgrow the power, on the straights, but in heavy twisties the bike comes into its own like nothing else. Wave the big bikes goodby and enjoy the fun.
I have got my RS250 to 225km/h
Used as a commuter too it's hard to control that much fun on the road.
never tested my hyo but got to 140 once (still had a bit before redline)
'87 FZR250 (i4) got to 180km/h and it pulled the entire way to 160 before power started dropping off
VT250F Integra did 170kph @13,000rpm.
Wouldn't get to the 13,500rpm redline.
i had a 1992 FZR250, speedo stoped at 180, but it was going well past that
I'd love to see these speeds verified with GPS.
