Keen to see this from ground level after the failure of this year's immediate post earthquake attempt.

so whos going to Eddie's to play 'kick the cast'???
Buggs, BMWRSNUT and Peter Bates have confirmed, plus Lance who I think was at the last one you were at should be there and hopefully RogerH from Hamilton and Duncan from Auckland will also be in attendance. Pablo was talking about coming a few weeks ago but I haven't heard from him since so not sure about him.
Balrog would have come but he's sick and contagious.

Hi Eddie, I'll be there & I think GT also.
Hey Eddie, hope the leg is healing up. You got some Xrays pics for us to cringe at![]()
You would have loved the WAR ride but no doubt youll get the full "debreif" tonight from the lads (no undie punn intended)
....wherezz that track go
Thanks Eddie for a great evening
was great to catch up with everyone and tell lies about what we did in the WAR
On Sunday 15 Jan GT & I are doing a Waiarapa gravel ride to test his extra fuel capacity prior to the Dusty Butt.
All welcome, departing The Bach Martinborough Square 10am, via Glendhu, Admiral Hill, Flat Point, Kaiwhata Rd to Riversdale. 320km return
how did it go?
Here's a linky to the ride reportAs a pre ride for the Dusty its fair to say that it may not have checked all the boxes.
OOOOPSA swift recovery to GT I hope. A timely reminder to keep left. Not always the easiest way round the corner though.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
I'm working in the Hutt for a few days, but sadly couldn't bring my bike with me this time.
So I'm going to have to go to the pub to console myself.
7ish tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Parrot and Jigger, if anyone wants to join me![]()
