    Yep I may be keen, only did half the ride last week , left the TL in Taihape , had to go back in the car on sunday with a trailer , so getting to know the road . To be honest its got the usual cheap tar seal problem so there is plenty of loose stuff in parts.
    Why are all the good ones gone in a heart beat yet the vermin and scum seemingly live forever?

    Having not been to one of these events, what exactly is it? 1/4 mile, street racing against other riders, a time event from one point to the other etc etc?

    Haven't done this one before but i believe it to be a stretch of road a couple of km long uphill mostly with twisty corners and some straight aways...
