Should buy a camera and make a "top speed" video to put on Youtube.
nice work- cheers for the tip.
Now...any ideas how long an 8 gig card will take to full, using the same quality video you have on that you tube clip?
probably longer than the battery will last
Read below
40 dollars for 8gb class 10 is just stupid..... youd be stupid to even think of making a purchase as such
heres a link to a cheaper solution and id advise a go pro over the rubbish youve already purchased.

Gopro provide a quality service with their cameras,
I havnt heard of Hobbyking before and by the looks of the footage i can already tell the difference between both.
Go pro have their name for a reason and there production in the last year has shot through the sky compared to these smaller Chinese firms that create imitations of the gopro.
If you want real HD not some flimsy Chinese rubbish then id advise going PRO! you'll notice the difference!
Everyone has nothing but problems and distortion with their mics on these cheap imitations, just get a gopro to save the hassle of dealing with cheap rubbish, you'll get quality, your camera claims its HD yet my standard 170 i have at home is of better quality and is not even labelled HD.
Dont think you realize how much a lens actually matters, stay away from the cheap shit im already bidding how long it will be before it eats itself till death. They do not last very long.

Which one i had a contour HD the 1080p option at 30fps was great but i still had distortion in the sound from the wind.
Gopro's have topped it off for me in the digital photography world, i think there solution with a separate housing aswell as the camera unit itself defined themselves from other competitors. I can film on HD hero and get no wind distortion what so ever, view goproHDhero2 on youtube.
As audience of a film, clip, whatever the last thing you want to be hearing is the distortion between the blowing of the wind and purring of the motorcycle.
Go pro somehow have eliminated this factor, this being what distinguishes themselves from their competitors. Ive owned all the gopros and have never had a problem at all, i can use the camera outside its housing and it acts as a personal diary picking up nothing but my voice alone, the unit itself has settings within the camera and there are plenty i mean plenty of addons which will help you get that angle your after.
I've picked up some nice video gigs lately so I went crazy at the Camera shop.
Go-pro Hero HD2 Motorsports kit
LCD Back
Spare Battery,
32gb class 10 card
Replacement lens kit for my existing HD Hero
I didn't get much change from $AU700.
I've also used/use the $60 - $80 units for an effects shot and they don't do a bad job either.
They aren't bad value for the money.
Not everyone is shooting for a Pulitzer.
Sorry,
I meant the 1080P......
I use one all the time, and actually use the 60 f/s 720? (I Think) option. I find this quite good and have put a few things on Youtube lately. (Some were in 1080 too).
Yes, wind noise is my only bug bare too.... I am looking at that though (experimenting). Nick Cole's instillation of one on Boxing Day at Wanganui aboard the ZX10 Superbike was good enough to put on the TV. They may have used a bit of editing software for the sound though... Not sure, but I do know it was 1080 HD at 30f/s, as my mate installed the camera in his bike.
I was really after your opinions on the picture quality, and you seem happy with that![]()
