RE CBX1000 and GL1000. I had (pardon the word) both of those bikes once and the GL was not to be underestimated. Bought it second hand from two gay Scotish dentists, Ben Doon and Phil McCavity. Used the Wing London commuting and it was pretty good for prising open cracks in traffic (oops). It was great cross country and could keep a pretty good average up. (up what I dont know)

Isin't that only on big cruiser/tourer models?
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Actually this motorcycle/car hybrid has some interesting sexual possibilities - check out the interior seating graphics re "even enough room in this device for a friend to ride in the back for short city excursions"

I'd have to say I'm agreeing with their 012 CBR philosophy - improve and refine the bike so it is the best riders bike out there instead of just governing everything with electronics. The 2010 model I took for a spin was awsome.

Maybe that's the guts of the ghey thing by other riders - they are bitterly aware that Honda riders have superior abilities and have to slag it off!

I dont think the cbr1000rr(2012) has this?, No I dont live under a mushroom, I live in a big shed full of motorcycles, some of them start with RCXX, which are just awsome race breed bikes, I also have the race bikes from other brands, but they are worth nothing compaired to the RC's.Sounds like you have not ridden the touring range with the linked braking, It works. If you ride these bikes like a race bikes , NO it is a pain, but it works for what it is designed to do.Sounds like you are need more riding experience, and not just reading magazine's.

No. But they are avail with ABS no? Any RC30/45 is horn. I've owned and raced an RS250...that too was horn.

I've ridden plenty of bikes with linked brakes, and they all sucked arse.

I wonder if you'll think the 1199 Panigale will suck arse. Besides 'Race' mode, it has linked brakes.

Yes if you read again, ABS is an option as I said, but I wont be getting this option when I order a CBR1000rr 2012.

Any bike that puts a front caliper on when you dab the rear brake at low speed (like riding a bike through traffic or a showroom) sucks arse.

I'm with you on ABS too. Not on my bikes thanks.

I'm keen to try it out, I really like the VFR800 and I'm not a fast rider, so maybe it won't piss me off so much?

Oh, is that how it works? I thought it was just that the rear brake was linked to the front brake lever. I didn't know the rear brake pedal engaged the front brake - that really is retarded

Fuck sakes, Ducati finally get something right and put a wet clutch on their bike. But fuck it up and use a frame system proven to be shithouse by Stoner and Rossi both, and then they link the brakes!

I really can't understand the following Ducati have at all. They don't make a superior machine for the road anymore (someone please argue that the Desmocidici was superior, I'll direct you to guy who rode on e on a track, and said it's a slow steering, underwhelming experience), and charge twice as much in some cases for it.

I'm amending my perception of gay, Honda and Ducati meet the requirements.

Only bike I have ridden with linked brakes was a MotoGuzzi, once you get your head around then they work very well and I'd imagine with another 20+ years of technology they could work even better

    So do you
"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough power."

Yeah, as I said, when you put it in Race mode, the brakes aren't linked. I guess it's to cater to the masses riding on the street with the option of turning it off for track racing. Options are good
