Yeah I need to get some quotes. There was a crack before I bought it, and the workshop who did the service before I picked it up in Rotovegas plastic welded the crack just about the headlight. 30 minutes of riding through the gorge later it cracked and split.

I would love to replace the fairing and repaint the whole bike, but my bike has the same colour and decal scheme as yours, it almost seems a shame to strip them off.

yea keep it til u find a replacement fairing haha my opinion anyway. I'v seen plenty of repainted blades in just solid colors (or even worse tacky flames) and they dont do it for me. They need the decals and graphics.

I'v heard the factory decals and stickers are avail. just gotta keep huntin.

A good plastic welder and repair shouldnt split or crack again. prev ZXRs both had repairs that never failed.

anyway. enjoy the blade! yours got the concrete dust on it eh? f****ckers

A repainted 'Blade can look yummy, this is (IMO) the sexiest example I've ever seen.

the tail makes it look great!

paint tho - its just a race bike scheme. sponsors stickers and 2 tone.. meh, see them all day at the track. I like a nice road bike with some sort of graphics/scheme myself. well jap bikes anyway. bikes with nicer styling; MV augustas and dukes etc dont need graphics to look good

gotta find a tail like that fr my blade tho now! haha..

Same goes with Jap cars too (in general), I think they just spend less time making it look epic and more time making electrics work

While this is true, they do turf out some awesome looking cars from time to time. Re the bikes, I like how the blades have the bold polished frame, it makes a good counterpoint to a black or dark coloured bike.

Not that kind of frame! I can tell you like to ride Hondas

Dont forget the KPG GTRs, the Z32 300zx, Toyota 2000GT, 240zx, original fairlady, Supras, 70s laurels and skylines, the list goes on

I've had a few too many Hondas...
They are a few tasty looking cars fer sure, but the 2000gt and 240 just wished they were E-types
I'm a big fan of the Z32, have always enjoyed driving them, my only problem with the looks is the uber big C pillar

I do like the Z32, have driven a few. I hated the HICAS though, never felt natural. A mate of mine has a '96 F/L manual N/A, it has genuine BBS RS and is factory black. Very hot looking car, no HICAS either, so feels great in the corners.

I have had some bad experiences with mid-corner bumps and HICAS

Is there a way to set this forum up to email me when threads I've posted on have updates?
