Hey, Helen Clark is actually very beautiful woman. It's just hard to show that kind of beauty on TV.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

He wasn't doing exactly the same thing though. The only similarity was crossing a bit of coloured paint on the road, and generally riding like a bit of a wanker. It was nothing like passing on a blind corner though.

By exactly, I mean...using the road like it was a race track ie: nothing coming the other way..both riders proved they have no reguard for any other road user, let alone themselves.

Why has nobody commented on the fact that there wasn't actually any reason for Blameless Rider Whose Life Was Put In Jeopardy (tm) to ride straight off the road and fall down?

Wrong side of the road is wrong side of the road. 20 times the visibility? Tell the Judge.

but why do you need to use the other side of the road..? its not a race track at the end of the day and is your side of the road not big enough for you to ride how you need to safely that you need to cross the centre line.???

Because as oab said...I'm lazy. Because I'm from a racing backround, the easiest way from one corner to the next is in a straight line.

When you have ample vision and a clear road, I have no problem with it.

For the same reason they needed to video it. To show how awesome they are.
