I'd be thinking about a nice big Dyna bolt and chain there too Mr.

    What's the tyre budget?

Good on ya! just remember it is not a straight line hero bike, it will go around corners too!. We should start a local Busa club, I have a battered looking 06, done 54,000 on it, am on the Akaroa GP regular and do round the block when racing or weather doesn't get in the way- We could have patches too, we could be the "300" club and you would have to be really cool (like us!) to belong

So question, My busa has Neptune slip on cans and a K&N air filter is that all good with out a power commander or am i better with the stock cans on it? I ask this from a primarily fuel economy point of view as i have sold my cage this will be my everything bike.

You don't need to bother with a power commander, expect 300 kms on a full tank touring at sensible speeds open road two up (120/130ish) , not a lot different when being used around town. When you are used to your new ground based Apollo13 you can get throttle response sharpened up in gears 1,2 and 3 and the top speed limiter removed by going to see Red at Triple R, he can access the ECU and remove the factory imposed restrictions. Make sure you do the sags and set up rebound and compression properly (the standard suspension is actually ok for normal people) and it will not be as hard on tyres as some would have you believe. Practise useing the rear brake to help steer the bike and practise full blown panic stops (important!) if you want to avoid a nasty suprise.
