Imagine there disappointment when you take the helmet off.

It is the same as for me; I noticed that when I am riding much more girls gaze at me compared to when I wear my usual dresses

Talks of being in a car is like watching the landscape going by on a TV. No sensual feelings, like smells, touch & feel.

Depends entirely on the car.

Driving just any old car is an A to B situation, but spiritedly driving my classic sports car when I'm "in the zone" is every bit the visceral experience of riding.

Riding any bike is never quite a meaningless A to B thing though.
