Too many to count. Mostly fifty years ago plus when I first got my license.

Maybe six or seven years ago I got two tickets in quick succession for exceeding the limit by a bit over 10kph thereby collecting demerits. Didn't like that much, so I bought a radar detector.

Last time I was stopped I was on the moped, they were stopping all bikes. I already posted about that on KB.

There is a definite impression that since the merger of the MoT with the Police there is a lot less risk of getting stopped.

Not as long as they speak to you nicely.

Three times I think on my old VT250 all with 2-4 years riding.
Once for "speeding away from lights" pfft...on a 250...and apparently it did a radar 71km/h in first. Chatted to the cop who was a great bloke, got let off.
Overtaking on double yellows (Manawatu Gorge, meh). Tried to do me for 135km/h too, but no radar reading (he caught up to me in Palmy, so God knows what he was doing, I was riding at the speed limit) Got dangerous riding charge or something.
Got pulled in Pahiatua for getting my knee down, got let off because he decided I was a comical chap and repentant
Not bad for a young wanker with 8 years riding

    a while i guess

A number of years riding here and overseas..

europe used to be fun, as they would clock the time you entered certain sections of the motorway
so you used to stop short and wait for the travel time to exspire..
same thing happens in canada too..

here, pulled on the fxr150 for no brake light ( rainy night got told to stop at the next servo and fit a
    new bulb.
pulled on the TRX outside of rotovegas 120 in a 100 zone ( fair cop since id been doing well over that
    two corners before hand )

Hauraki plains, got pulled up by a cop swearing i was part of a group ride that was excessively speeding
and wanted names and stuff.. ( fj1200 full paniers and the missues on the back ) Umm yes the bike was
called express freight ( stage three motor ) would stretch the chain and pull nice monos but really ????

couple of contacts for the hour i guess riding a highly modded bike just wanting to know what the bike was.

I have sometimes found that to be the only way to have a sensible conversation?

They all come from the same gene pool over there anyway don't they, so I kinda guess it would be like talking to yourself.

Been riding 2 years, all on my '92 Suzuki Bandit 250.
Been stopped twice, first was after about 6 months of riding, I went through a give-way bay and pulled out on top of an unmarked police car.

Copper chewed me out thoroughly but didn't ticket me even though I didn't have an L-plate on. I told him I left it at home because it looked gay and all the hot girls at uni laugh at me. So he let me off.

Second was commuting to work in the morning, turning right from Union St to Nelson St in Auckland CBD. There's always a copper hanging around to catch people coming off the motorway exit too hot. I ran an orange and got booked for running a red light.
You want some advice - lightning strikes once, it does not strike twice!

    25 years riding.
Only stops have been wof/rego stops or the drink driving check points. And even then it has only been a handful of those - def less than 5.

Guess I am not a real biker

    Been stopped a few times.

Speeding a little and also to checking bike's not stolen a few times too.

Cops stopping me generally have a good attitude.

    No complaints.

I noticed the same pattern. I was never stopped when riding any other make, eg Honda 500, Kwaka 750, various Jawas etc.

None when I was younger although twice evaded the popo by opening the throttle. Been back riding 6 years and been stopped and ticketed twice for speeding Ducati ST4s both times. Must have lost some Kahuna in the interval.
