Ah at last I can put a face to the name. I take it "Norman" is your faithful steed??
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

This thread usually dies because other winter threads are posted. However it doesn't have to die if it's users don't want it to.

Remember folks Wednesday Maintenance Night 6th June at Wofman's place, Gloucester/Fitzgerald 6.00pm.

You should definitely go! It's heaps of fun!

2 days to get down via the center and 1 to get back via the coast seems to be how its done. Although I'm thinking I might head over to the west coast and ride state highway 6 along with Haast Pass and the crown Range.

Also, my plans aren't set in stone. If anyone is looking for someone to ride down with them, send me a PM.

I think I passed you just on the town side of the summit! As I roared passed on the DR I 'thought' I saw something familiar. Will look back on the video ...

Brass ay? Jeez, you're keen! In winter, if I can't have a warm dinner, warm bed and cat then I go all to pieces!

I can help with the warm bed and dinner, hows about a hyperactive welsh terrier, getting there that is?

It's only one night you big wuss!

yes Pete, saw you up there, you were coming down just as I approached the summit junction. As for the Brass, I've done a polar plunge on the top of the Kawerau Ranges mid winter..think so long as I have my trusty thermals, beanie and thick possum knitted socks I"ll survive...and you should be coming too!! you'll have two out of three,,, and that aint bad lol ok ok bad pun but message is still there , don't let a girl beat ya!
