Very cool!!!
With that chain drive... Is it a Magni converted roadster or a pukka MV racer?
Either way its very cool.....
I left the circuit for a short time when it was out, it only got one run and then the noise police had a word with them...
It's way earlier than seventies this was a bike built up out of parts by Count Augusta's chaffeur. I asked a few questions and it was built with either parts that were surplus to a run, ie they needed 1/2 dozen bits made eight in case there were issues and there were some left over and parts that were replaced with new parts etc and the Chaffeur got the used ones to sort.
Very sloppy of the Count - he was apparently famously stuffy about stuff like that.
Given the numbers of replicas made over the years it would be interesting if there was some genuine provable history with the bike. I mean I have no reason to doubt anyone but the fact is when stuff gets to a certain value interesting examples 'appear'. I remember talking to a guy at a Bugatti exhibition in London. He told me there were more Type 35's in the world than were ever made by Bugatti. Once they were uncompetitive as a single seater they had a sports car body put on them and raced in a different class. Years later you could restore two cars (one from the chassis and one from the body) which both had a claim to being genuine....
Lucky chauffeur though - no matter what its a bloody nice thing and I'd love to hear it at full snot.
Wow that is a stunner! There is something extra sexy about the air-cooled Agusta big fours. The MV and Laverda engine castings just make me drool.
You want some advice - lightning strikes once, it does not strike twice!
It just looks like a Honda Gb400 with a couple of yellow ice cream container lids on it to me.
My..poor keyboard..just got ...err.."drolled"..on...
Think of me as another carpet cleaner...
This I call MV Agusta P0rn.....!!!!!!!
Someone get it running on video?
