I don't think it really compares to a newer litre bike but even if it were original and better than any other old GSXR in the country there'd be a very select market for it at $8k. For that price you could find 2 tidy runners and a parts bike on trademe without trying too hard.

It's still a nice bike though; I've got plenty of space for early GSXRs in my dream garage.

Don't know if you looked but 8K is the buy now, the bidding starts at 5K. See if you can get a nicer bike for 5K?

You were told you wouldn't find anything better for the money, but you just had to go and look anyway!

That 1100r that's second on the list, used to belong to megageoff on here. The thing looked brand fuckin new when he had it! He still regrets selling it.

The ZX10 is a freak occurance though, I don't think we should count that one. Unbelievable price though, if I had the coin I'd turn a nice profit on that bad boy.

It's been for sale on Trademe for ages, probably all year at least.

I'd rather have these two (which have also been for sale for months without selling):

Ya can't put the same link twice and call it two bikes, even I'm not stupid enough to fall for that.

I think idd pay a couple of K more for Laavas bike than the average gsxr750 for sale on trade me. Its a higher quality bike. 5k start. I want to know if reserve is closer to starting bid or buy now. 8k is a couple to many unless a very keen buyer spots it even though you get lots of bling on it.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.

The 400 beat them both to the GSXR name.

Yup it did indeed but as it was a domestic model only (I think anyway) it never truly received that accolade.

No, actually it was widely exported in 1984.
