With this forum being vBulletin open source software released under the GNU License, the site owner has access to the site files allowing a mod to the PHP code to remove images from replies. Targeting and removing the HTML "img" tags upon server side parsing of the reply is very straightforward, this is a quick and dirty regular expression function I quickly coded as an example of stripping one or more images from a forum reply:

...my XLV 750 is hanging about in my shed, unused for a long time..reg on hold, strong motor..a cheap and easy way in to the adventure bike thing...love it, never use it...it's gotta go...

That'll strip all images. You only want to strip images within quote tags. However, I would suggest keeping the first quoted image and stripping the rest.

Marty - I would pay that, well actually maybe $6000 for it. The DR would not need as much maintenance in two years as the Husky OR a KTM
and on a plus, the DR can be ridden everywhere rather than transported on the back of a trailer to and from a ride...
