...speaking of which(and seeing as your doing some work on your beauty), did you take my advice in regards using "Dielectric grease" on all your electrical connections & joints etc?...its the best thing I ever did to ol "Phat Girl", 3 heavy southern winters and she didn't miss a beat! (Used to have the usual guzzi sparky problems...dash etc doing "odd" things in heavy rain)
