it is the best modern short bike I have ever ridden.

Mr Lawrence has informed me that it now wears brand new F2 bodywork, so I suspect it will now look something like this

Somebody really should just buy it, its a bargin, it is a complete working sidecar (already assembled) for the same amount as what my engine cost me.
looks sweet, especially if its wearing f2 fairings now.. wonder if my bike would fit under f2 skins

if on the off chance my bike makes it to north island for the barry sheene, i recon ill leave it up there and join ya for boxing day street race too. Will be up there anyway for xmas and the bike would be up there anyway too so why not!
still big maybe tho. need a money tree

why does everybody think that they can grab a twenty or thirty year old rig and chuck the latest fastest donk in it and go back out there?
Makes little sense as they just end up handling like a fucking waterbed.

This outfit started life with an RG400 engine in it, so is already at the limits of its chassis.
This is the reason we now have log books, so the scrutineers can track the life of a chassis.
We currently have a Shelbourne out there that started life in the early '70's with an air cooled RD350 engine, now running a GSXR1000.
Try putting a GSXR100 engine in a standard 1973 RD350 road bike, same result.

Could you set it back up to run the rg400 and run it with the classics,

Yes, im sure it could have an RG installed back in it, but it would run F2. It would be better off with a Jap 600 in it if it was converted to F2.
Fortunately I have a couple of 2000 R6 sidecar converted engines avaliable for $600.
Classic must be non Jap, all components commercially avaliable prior to 1976.
