Mines bikes in the shop for 3 weeks, thats causing pretty bad withdrawls. Going for years without wheels would drive me barmy.
I have to agree, theres just something about them.....good looking bikes..

yeah, I have a gsxr as well, K4, and the yam looks just as new, but way sexier. not many that equal the older R1s for the purdy factor.

Yup, been looking for a while & decided on this one. They did a 31 point check today & found it needs something to do with the battery charging system....common fault he says but have to get one in from Aus so may not pick it up till next week

IMO all the '06 onwards Jappas have been getting uglier and uglier.
Gen 1 ZX10R was the best looking of the 2000s in my book, Gen1 R1 is the prettiest faired japper in my head.

Question for those who have one of the same vintage.....premium or unleaded??? I was told could be best on premium but found the 900SS & the Fireblade both ran better on unleaded?? What do you reckon.

I think you mean premium or regular.

All general pump gas is unleaded.

Mine is slightly later being an 01 but carburetted as well.

It also has an ignition advancer and runs like shit on 91, I generally run it on 98 if available but runs fine on 95.

Suggest you use at least premium or above.
